MINILINE BAG FILTER HOUSINGS

Miniture sized bag filter housings for low flow rates

MINILINE BAG FILTER HOUSING

The MINILINE bag filter housing has the same hydro formed construction as the ECOLINE bag filter housing except it is miniaturized to use  smaller #3 and #4 size filter bags for low flow rate applications. Sizing guidelines are flow rates up to 25 GPM for #3 size filter bags and up to 50 GPM for #4 size filter bags assuming nominally rated filter bags and liquids that have a water-like viscosity.

Choice of closure style

MINILINE bag filter housings are provided with either a V-Clamp style quick-opening closure or swing eye-bolts as used by our other (larger) filter housing designs.  The clamp style closure is limited to 150 PSI whereas the swing bolt closure can be used at pressures as high as 300 PSI.

MINILINE bag filter housings are offered in 316SS material of construction and with ¾", 1" or 1½" FNPT (threaded) inlet/outlet connections. They are small enough that thy do not require support legs and are simply supported by the pipeline to which it is installed.  Like the ECOLINE bag filter housing, MINILINE bag filter housings have a concave evacuation cover designed to increase ullage within the vessel, reducing spillover and inadvertent contact with the process liquid.

Due to the sealing method of the filer bag to housing, MINILINE's are best suited for applications using nominally rated filter bags for 50+ micron size particles.  When absolute rated filter bags are required or the particle size to retain is <50 microns the TOPLINE bag filter housing design would better support high filtration efficiencies.
