LOFCLEAR™ 500 Series Gelatinous Filter Bags Specification Sheet
LOFCLEAR 500 Series filter bags are designed to remove gelatinous and deformable particles from oils and slurries while still providing a high particulate hold capacity. Constructed of several layers of melt-blown polypropylene oriented in a pleated configuration, LOFCLEAR 500 Series filter bags provide BETA 100 (99% absolute retention) for particles as fine as 2.6, 6, 13 and 32 microns. The outer layer is made of spun bound polypropylene to prevent fiber migration.
LOFCLEAR 500 series filter bags are constructed of multiple layers melt-blown polypropylene and has a fully welded design for maximum strength. The complex flow path through varying density of fine, pure polypropylene fibers enables the removal of gels and other deformable particles without sacrificing its particle holding capacity. Although the internal surface area is 5.2 SQFT, there is about 32 SQFT of surface area in total when taking into account all the layers and pleated design; this amounts to a particle holding capacity of approximately 2.2 lbs!
The manufacturing process and quality control system (ISO 9001:2015) ensures the filter bag materials are devoid of silicone and other crater-forming substances and that consistence of performance will be maintained for every bag.
