High-Efficiency Removal of Gels and Deformable Particles

LOFCLEAR™ 500 Series filter bags are specifically engineered to remove gelatinous and deformable particles from oils and slurries. Unlike standard bags that may blind quickly when handling gels, the 500 Series utilizes multiple layers of melt-blown polypropylene in a pleated configuration to maintain a high particulate hold capacity. These bags provide BETA 100 (99% absolute retention) for particles as fine as 2.6, 6, 13, and 32 microns.

The complex flow path created by the varying density of fine, pure polypropylene fibers allows for the effective capture of gels without sacrificing flow performance. While the internal surface area is 5.2 SQFT, the pleated design provides a total of approximately 32 SQFT of surface area, resulting in a massive particle holding capacity of roughly 2.2 lbs.
