Duplexing multiple bag filter housings supports nominal filtration from 1 to 200 microns at flow rates up to 1000 GPM using standard #2 size filter bags.  When using HAYFLOW style support baskets and filer bags the MAXILINE-HE-T duplex bag filters can be sued for flow rates up to 1600 GPM.

 

The MAXILINE-HE-T duplex bag filter consists of two MAXILINE-HE multiple bag filter housings linked together with a pair of pipe tees and linked butterfly valves. Linking the butterfly valve to a single operate ensures that division of flow to the clean bag housing and isolation of the dirty bag housing does not interrupt the process flow.  Without linkage the operator would need open and close valves in a specific order, so the linkage eliminates operator error in support of continuous flow.

 

The underlying MAXILINE-HE bag filter housing has a spring assisted hinged closure for enhanced personnel safety and a tangential (lower) outlet nozzle resulting in a shorter height vessel, making it ergonomically easier to remove and insert filter bags.  The height difference is about 7" less when compared to designs having 90 degree elbows at the bottom of the dished head.

 

The pipe tee connection between MAXILINE-HE bag filter housings can be rotated in 90 degree increments to support different inlet-to-outlet piping orientations.
