The Becodisc P media has extremely low levels of ion and endotoxin content, which is related to the high-purity celluloses used in its construction. The mineral-free construction ensures minimum calcium, magnesium and aluminum ion contamination.
Becodisc P stacked disc cartridges are cationic; characterized by adsorption charge-related during filtration, chemical resistance and high bursting strength. Becodisc P stacked disc cartridges are suitable for applications involving mechanical separation of particles and adsorptive retention of negatively charged particles. Becodisc B551 provides coarse filtration and particle separation. Becodisc B451 is for slightly finer, clarifying type applications. Becodisc B351 is for finer filtration, including removal of activated carbon. Becodiscs B221 and B271 are engineered for microbiological reduction and endotoxin-reducing filtration with average initial burden. Becodiscs B121 and B171 provide increased endotoxin retention, protection of downstream membrane filters and minimization of bioburden in the filtrate.
